Work on the book began in April and concluded in July of this year. Thanks to the remarkable activity and commitment of the residents of Żeliszów, an exceptionally rich body of source and photographic material was collected, resulting in the publication of a beautifully illustrated, 160-page story about the residents, their lives, passions, interests and the work they undertook to make post-war Giersdorf their former Maksymówka—a lost paradise.
During the meeting, the author will discuss how the book was created. It will also be possible to receive a copy of the story.
