The Legnica Cultural Centre is a co-organiser of this festival of electronic and experimental music, combining sound with image, one of the most important festivals of its kind in Lower Silesia. Concerts Intermediale 2015 are not only outstanding electronic music performed at the highest level, but also presentations of images specially created for it.
“The artists from Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic and Poland who accepted our invitation to this year’s festival are truly top-class. We invite everyone to the concerts; admission is free,” says Małgorzata Dancewicz, the festival organiser.
She adds: “Although many people associate electronic music only with techno or dance music, our offering is completely different. Intermediale features performers of a high artistic standard who also appeal to lovers of classical and serious music. In addition, special visualisations have been created for every concert. If you enjoy this kind of art, we invite you to an artistic feast. And those who have not encountered it before are all the more encouraged to see this year’s concerts,” Małgorzata Dancewicz encourages.
The concerts will take place at the Modrzejewska Theatre in Legnica. Audiovisual workshops at the Film Studio of the Legnica Cultural Centre will accompany the festival.
