Last weekend, the International Inclusive Table Tennis Tournament was held in Żywiec. The Bolesławiec players put in a successful performance. Andrzej Kwiatkowski defeated the reigning Polish champion and European runner-up, Mirosław Kowalski, 3–0. This is Andrzej’s greatest success. He then lost 2–3 to his club teammate Waldemar Krzemiński in a fiercely contested match. Ultimately, Andrzej Kwiatkowski finished 13th, while Waldemar Krzemiński finished 11th.
Both able-bodied and disabled table tennis players competed in the tournament in Żywiec. More than 100 athletes from Poland and abroad took part in total. The tournament featured a very strong field. First-league players Krzysztof Malcherek, Waldemar Pala, Michał Gołdyn and many other talented players competed. Jakub Kosowski won the Żywiec tournament, ahead of Michał Gołdyn and Krzysztof Malcherek. Ivan Karabec finished fourth.
