The detention took place on 18 November this year in one of the apartments in Lubin. As a result of operational work, officers determined that the man might be storing large quantities of narcotic substances. Once they had confirmed that the collected material substantially substantiated their findings in the case, they entered the apartment located in one of Lubin’s housing estates.

Their findings were confirmed—the officers found narcotic substances there in the form of marijuana, amphetamine and methamphetamine. The drugs were in jars hidden in... the sleeves of clothes in a wardrobe. This was intended to prevent them from being found.

The detainee was taken to police custody. He may face up to 10 years in prison. At the prosecutor’s request, the 29-year-old was remanded in custody for three months.
