Police officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra identified and then arrested two men, aged 19 and 28, suspected of a series of property-related offenses.

The suspects are accused of at least nineteen offenses committed in Jelenia Góra from October to November this year. These included theft and burglary. The men broke into and robbed 11 cars, several basements and garden sheds. They stole power tools, bicycles, radios, car stereos, CB radios, a navigation system, power tools, gardening tools and other items. In addition, they stole a petrol lawn mower from a private property. The victims’ total losses amount to more than 6,000 złoty.

As a result of their investigative activities and searches, police officers recovered stolen property worth approximately 5,000 złoty.

The suspects were taken into police custody. They face up to 10 years in prison.
