A multifunctional sports field was opened at the Construction School Complex on 20 November. It includes:
- three basketball courts
- two volleyball courts
- two badminton courts
- one tennis court
- one handball court
- one mini-football court
“We are developing, and there is no problem with investments. A complete success,” says Jacek Jurkiewicz, director of the Construction School Complex.
Teachers from the Construction School Complex write about the fields:
We are proud that these sports facilities were built at our school, with our students and the local community in mind. We are grateful to everyone who contributed their effort and heart so that they could operate.
May they serve health and the development of physical fitness. May they be a place of competition in the spirit of “fair play.” And may the beautiful idea of education through sport be brought to life at our school thanks to them.
After the ceremonial inauguration, an artistic performance followed. Oliwia Jakubowska sang a song, and the Canon ensemble, whose supervisor is Katarzyna Tomczyk-Jakubowska, a physical education teacher at the Construction School Complex, performed a dance.
Among those present at the ceremony were, among others, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, Bolesławiec County Governor Dariusz Kwaśniewski, Head of the County Education and Promotion Department Alicja Krzyszczak, Head of the Investments and Public Procurement Department Ewa Rendecka-Woch, and Commander of the Voluntary Labour Corps Nina Rusin.
