On Wednesday (18 November), rescue forces held exercises at the water reservoir in Niedów (Zgorzelec County), at the local sailing center. The exercises began at 10:00 a.m. Participants included, among others, PSP firefighters from Zgorzelec, Jelenia Góra, Bolesławiec and Lubań, as well as volunteer firefighters.
During the exercises, participants built flood embankments, pumped water out of flooded facilities, rescued a drowning person, practiced organizing logistical support and tested the performance of rescue boats and other rescue equipment. We invite you to view the photo gallery from the exercises. The photos were taken by Janusz Wilk.
