In the few cases when direct contact with a benefit recipient, insured person or contribution payer is necessary, a ZUS employee has authorisation and an identity card, which they are required to present for inspection. The activities performed are always free of charge.
The institution reminds people not to share information about the benefits they receive from ZUS with strangers. This also applies to documents such as a pensioner’s identity card or a decision granting a benefit.
