At the end of last week, unknown perpetrators carried out a daring theft in the city centre. A dozen or so heavy stone kerbs disappeared from the lot near the former PKS bus stop. The elements came from Parkowa Street in Zawidów. They were dismantled by the Municipal Utilities Company while it was replacing connections and were stored in the lot near the PKS stop for the duration of the renovation. Once the work was completed, the renovation crew was supposed to lay them again. Except that… they disappeared without a trace or witnesses.
The stolen items were worth several thousand złoty. The Zawidów Municipal Office is asking anyone who witnessed the incident to help apprehend the thieves.
