A Municipal Police patrol went to the site and confirmed the report. The officers found large plastic canisters scattered around. They were empty. A smell similar to that coming from the sewage system was emanating from them.
The fire brigade, police, representatives of the “Wodnik” company and employees of the Crisis Management Department of the Municipal Office were called to the site. Samples of the substance were taken from the canisters and the sewage system.
It is being determined whether the substance was poured into the sewage system from the canisters.
