Thanks to the efforts of the Municipality, additional funds were secured from the European Fund – for the Development of an Innovative Economy – to purchase equipment.
“We try to make the best possible use of the money we receive for the development of the Municipality. We are a thrifty local government, and we try to make full use of every project,” says Rudna Municipality head Władysław Bigus.
So far, as part of the project, 385 computers with internet access have been purchased for schools and residents. The additional equipment will now go to the computer labs at the School Complex in Rudna, the Rudna branch of the Culture Centre on Ścinawska Street, the Municipal Preschool in Rudna, the Municipal Preschool in Chobienia, the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Rudna, the School Complex in Chobienia, and the community centre by the Orlik sports field in Rudna. The preschool in Chobienia, the community centre by the Orlik field and the Rudna branch of the Culture Centre will also be connected to the internet.
The new equipment will reach its recipients later this year.
