As reported by volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec, on October 30 they were dispatched to the following incidents:

  1. 00:13 – a BMW accident on the A4 motorway, at kilometre 36 in the direction of Wrocław
  2. 6:56 – an Audi accident on the A4 motorway, at kilometre 23 in the direction of Wrocław
  3. 7:40 – an accident involving a VW passenger car in Ocice.

Update

Shortly after midnight on the A4, a Ford Focus rear-ended a Mercedes Sprinter. The Ford driver, a resident of Pleszew (Greater Poland), was fined PLN 400.

In the morning on the A4, an Audi driver hit an impact-absorbing barrier and… fled the scene. As it turned out, this was not accidental. The car had been stolen in Germany.

In the third incident, which occurred in Ocice (Bolesławiec Municipality), a truck driver from Lubusz Voivodeship failed to yield to a woman driving a Volkswagen Golf, who was a resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality. The woman was taken to hospital. Whether the incident will be classified as an accident or a collision depends on how serious her injuries are.
