Municipal guards will primarily provide advice and assistance, but they will also intervene in cases involving people committing offences.

  • people trading without the required permits and conducting illegal collections
  • disturbing the peace and public order, littering and polluting

Appeals and advice

The Municipal Guard in Jelenia Góra warns against people who may try to take advantage of our distraction and inattention. These are pickpockets. Let us not take large amounts of cash or valuable items to cemeteries. Do not leave valuables in cars; lock the windows and doors. If an attempted theft occurs or we notice people behaving strangely, alert the nearest municipal guard or police patrol.

Traffic organization has been changed on many streets around the cemeteries, and no-stopping zones have been introduced. Follow the signs and officers’ instructions. Guards will indicate where vehicles may be parked.
