Under the patronage of the Mayor of Bolesławiec, the competition attracted enormous interest last year. A total of 63 entries made from paper, wood, gingerbread, moss, salt dough or clay were submitted. During the Christmas exhibition, 2,415 votes were cast for the nativity scenes.

This year, too, the technique used to make the nativity scene is unrestricted. Completed nativity scenes, together with the entry form (also available from the Tourist and Cultural Information Point), should be delivered to the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre-International Ceramics Centre at 1c Piłsudskiego Square, room A10. The competition coordinator is Dorota Dziedzic-Lechowska.

Prizes and distinctions will be awarded by a committee appointed by the organiser. In addition, voting will take place on the BOK-MCC fan page, where people will be able to vote by liking the entry they like best (votes cast by 11 December 2015 will count).

The submitted entries will be on display at Forum cinema from 7 December as part of the Christmas exhibition. The awards ceremony will take place on 17 December in the town square during Bolesławiecka Gwiazdka Życzliwości.
