On Sunday, October 25, at around 7 p.m., a patrol from the Prevention Department spotted two young men near the allotment gardens in the Przylesie estate in Lubin. The officers decided to check their identities.
It turned out that a 16-year-old resident of Lubin and his 16-year-old friend from the Wołów municipality were at the allotment gardens in order to... smoke marijuana in a garden shed. The minors had a significant amount of it with them—more than 140 grams.
In addition, the teenagers told the officers that they had met in the shed to prepare a cake infused with the drug together. They explained that they had found a recipe online and followed it.
Both detainees will now answer for their actions before the family court.
