At this stage, a database is being created to assess the degree of environmental pollution and plan measures to protect and improve air quality.
In order to obtain information on energy consumption, the heat sources used, and completed (or planned) thermal modernisation work in buildings in the city, between 22 and 30 October, employees of Wroconsult sp. z o.o. will conduct surveys.
“These activities will be carried out by interviewers who hold personal authorisations issued by the mayor of the City of Zgorzelec,” municipal officials say. “We kindly ask residents to assist and cooperate fully with Wroconsult employees. All information provided by you information will be used exclusively for preparing the Low Emission Reduction Programme and will not be made publicly available. The documents will contain only summaries and conclusions from the analysis.
They add: “You are also invited to complete the online survey at: www.wroconsult.pl/pgn/zgorzelec/. The information collected in this way will enable us to plan more effectively measures aimed at improving the quality of our environment.”
