Strauss Gala is a brilliantly directed, charming performance featuring stunning costumes from the nostalgic era of the famous Franz Joseph. It is a musical journey to the land of the waltz—a world full of bustle, swirling dresses, beautiful women and flirting officers.
The Strauss Festival Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Ellery, will present the most famous compositions by the Strauss family. The concert programme will include wonderful waltzes, amusing polkas and the most popular excerpts from the operettas Die Fledermaus, The Gypsy Baron, Vienna Blood and A Night in Venice. Of course, the famous waltz On the Beautiful Blue Danube and the Radetzky March will also be performed.
Stylish choreographic arrangements performed by the ballet and magnificent soloists will certainly make this performance an unforgettable experience. This one-of-a-kind concert has already delighted thousands of viewers in Poland and abroad.
