In the film “Pilecki,” Witold Pilecki’s son talks about his father—a Polish war hero who voluntarily went to Auschwitz. This Polish docudrama, directed by Mirosław Krzyszkowski, presents the story of the cavalry captain from his youth, through his activities during World War II, to his imprisonment and death in May 1948.
“The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” is a science-fiction thriller set in a world affected by a great cataclysm. The maze was only the beginning, and even more surprises, traps and false leads await the protagonists. Thomas was certain that escaping the maze would mean freedom for him and the other Gladers. However, the mysterious organization WICKED has not ended its incredible experiments. Phase Two begins. Time for the scorch trials. The Gladers have two weeks to cross the Scorch—the most burned-out part of the world, a desert where danger lurks at every turn. As if that were not enough, a new threat has appeared—another group whose survival depends on the destruction of the Gladers. The newcomers are determined to survive. That is why they still cannot stop running—unless they want to be prisoners for the rest of their lives.
