At noon on 9 October, 18 uniformed classes and their supervisors stood at a ceremonial assembly marking the end of the young people's competition at the training ground in Żagań. The joy on the young people's faces made up for the hardship, commitment and effort invested during the competition. Asked by the organizers, they said that at times it had been truly difficult. Particularly demanding were the eight-kilometre cross-country march with fitness obstacles and the drill performances, for which they had prepared for a long time.

Summing up the gathering, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Maciej Jankowski thanked the participants for their active involvement, enthusiasm and commitment. Inviting them to take part in next year's edition, the deputy minister expressed hope that the gathering would become a recurring event for students of uniformed classes.

Congratulating the participants on their results and participation in the gathering, Deputy Commander of the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry Division Brigadier General Zbigniew Smok declared the Black Division's readiness to support the organization of the next edition of the gathering, inviting uniform enthusiasts to Poland's armoured capital.

– Thank you for the students' activity and discipline, as well as the educators' efforts – said Senior Warrant Officer Bogdan Fiałkowski, vice-president of the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special Company “Commando”, Bogdan Fiałkowski, who also thanked the Ministry of National Defence for its support of the Association: – By entrusting us with the organization of sports and defence events, former soldiers and commandos from the Commando Association can pass on knowledge and skills to young people who see their future in the uniformed services.

In this year's second edition of the nationwide gathering of uniformed classes, code-named “Żagań-2015”, students from the School Complex of Economics and Gastronomy in Otwock won the overall classification. The young people from the E. Kwiatkowski Upper-Secondary School Complex in Lębork came second, while students from the Third General Secondary School at the Kazimierz Kałużewski and Juliusz Sylla School Complex in Zduńska Wola took third place.

The class from the Stanisław Staszic School Complex of Economics and Gastronomy in Otwock won the drill and marching song competition as well as the schools' artistic presentation. The next places went to students from the General Secondary School with Bilingual Sections named after the Commission of National Education in Gogolin and the Commission of National Education Mechanical School Complex in Poznań.

The first three places in the overall classification and in the drill and marching song competition, as well as in the schools' artistic presentation, were recognized with trophies, while the winning team received material prizes. The distinctions and material prizes were presented by Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Maciej Jankowski, Deputy Commander of the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry Division Brigadier General Zbigniew Smok, Director of the Social Communication Department Beata Biały and Commando Association Vice-President Bogdan Fiałkowski.

At the end, Deputy Minister Jankowski presented the class delegations and gathering organizers with commemorative gorgets. On behalf of the honored commander of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, the award was accepted by Lieutenant Colonel Robert Pochodaj, the gathering commander.

It should be emphasized that the 23rd Artillery Regiment provided the greatest forces and resources among the units of the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry Division to ensure the event's logistical support. The young people's October competition at the Żagań training ground ended with a parade by the gathering participants.
