Grzegorz Kunecki supports the full legalization of marijuana and assures voters that, together with PSL, he will fight for it in the Sejm as soon as he gets there. The candidate became so carried away praising weed and its medicinal properties that—albeit too late—he came up with the idea of curing John Paul II of Parkinson’s disease.

“John Paul II died of Parkinson’s disease. Perhaps if he had used marijuana, he would still be alive today,” he told voters at the rally.

All in all, the farmers’ party are the best candidates to grow marijuana on a mass scale. This program makes sense. We failed to become the second Japan or Ireland; perhaps we will become the second Morocco. The Kingdom of Morocco in North Africa is a global producer of hashish. Around 80% of the marijuana on the European market comes from there, and 800,000 Moroccans—out of a population of approximately 31 million—make their living growing cannabis. Can it be done? Yes, it can!

I support the full legalization of marijuana—I will fight for it together with PSL. But my main objective is the economy and creating new jobs.
