On the occasion of National Education Day, an exceptional volleyball tournament was held on Friday, October 9, in the gymnasium of the Bolesławiec School Complex of Mechanical Engineering. It was exceptional because three volleyball generations met on the court: the teachers of the “mechanical school,” the school’s current team and its graduates, who represented the institution in volleyball competitions some time ago. “We still keep in touch with one another,” Krzysztof Mosiądz, a ZSM graduate, says in a conversation with “ii” Krzysztof Mosiądz. “We came up with the idea that it would be nice to play together again in our former lineup.”

Kamil Dudak, a physical education teacher, reacted very positively to the initiative. Kamil Dudak And so the meeting of the volleyball generations took place. The graduates did play with a reduced lineup—they were only five—but won both matches 2–0. “Most of us work, and some live outside Bolesławiec,” Krzysztof Mosiądz explains.

He adds: “I hope this tournament will become a permanent fixture in the school events calendar and that we will repeat this result next year.”

The organizers of the competition thank the “mechanical school’s” deputy headteacher, Barbara Berdula.
