At the first event, organized by the Department of Environment and Waste Management of the City Hall on October 4, numerous Legnica residents met Ziutek – a little boy who, together with the youngest participants, learned how important waste separation and caring for the environment are.
At the upcoming event, both children and adults will be able to test their knowledge of ecology and waste separation, while also taking part in activities, contests, sports competitions and team challenges. One of the contests will involve throwing waste into the appropriate bin. Gifts and a surprise await the participants.
We invite you to the Eco Olympics this coming Sunday, October 11. It starts at 3:30 p.m. in Legnica’s Market Square. Further events in this series will take place on October 18 and 25 and November 8, always at 3:30 p.m.
