On Friday (October 2), the military oath ceremony for 382 recruits of the third round of preparatory service for the National Reserve Forces took place in central Bolesławiec. The soldiers are being trained at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.
The ceremony, organized by the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, was attended by the Commander of the 11th Lubusz Armored Cavalry Division, Maj. Gen. Jarosław MIKA, commanders of the Black Division’s units, and the authorities of the city and Bolesławiec County.
Among the units of the 11th Lubusz Armored Cavalry Division, the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec has been conducting training for recruits of the third round of preparatory service since the beginning of September this year. It is preparing the largest number of volunteers in the country for service in the National Reserve Forces. The ceremonial assembly held at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square attracted more than 1,500 people, including the recruits’ closest relatives, who came to Bolesławiec from various parts of the country, as well as city residents.
