Also screening at our cinema is “Anatomia zła”, in which Krzysztof Stroiński received the Best Actor Award at the 40th Gdynia Film Festival for his excellent portrayal of a contract killer. The optimistic “Król Życia” enters its second week on screen.

Moreover, only over the weekend of 2–4 October, we will screen “Mama Tina”, recommended by Catholic media and presenting the true story of a woman who saved 70,000 children.

Details on the Bolesławiec Forum cinema.

The screenplay for “Panie Dulskie”, directed by Filip Bajon, was inspired by the play “Moralność Pani Dulskiej” by Gabriela Zapolska. The cast features a star-studded lineup rarely seen in Polish cinema: Krystyna Janda, Katarzyna Figura, Maja Ostaszewska, Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Katarzyna Herman, Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Władysław Kowalski, Sebastian Fabijański and many others. The film’s story unfolds across three time periods and follows the women of the titular family. The main characters are daughter Dulska, mother Dulska and grandmother Dulska.

“Chemia”, inspired by true events, is a story of the extraordinary love between two young people balancing on the boundary between life and death, love and madness. It is a story about an extraordinary feeling, coming of age and the search for one’s own identity. About love stronger than fear. About how it is worth loving as if there were no tomorrow.

“Anatomia zła” – a contract killer nicknamed “Lulek” (Stroiński) is released from prison on parole. Soon afterward, the prosecutor who brought about his arrest several years earlier makes him an offer he cannot refuse. In exchange for a large sum of money, a clean criminal record and the opportunity to leave the country discreetly, “Lulek” is to eliminate the commander of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

“Mama Tina” is the extraordinary story of a woman who devoted her life to saving children. Born in Dublin, Christina Noble, like Job, experienced one misfortune after another from an early age. Years of hardship—including starvation, an orphanage, rape and a child taken from her by force—did not break her but instead gave her strength. Guided by a recurring dream of Vietnamese children fleeing wartime napalm and by a fervent faith in God, with whom she remains in constant contact, she decided to set out for Asia and find her destiny there by helping the youngest.
