The escapades of two married couples living on the same floor, presented in a comic procession composed of amusing and witty dialogues. The anatomy of nosiness, jealousy, betrayal and greed. The mathematics of perfidy, ingenuity, hypocrisy and selfishness. The world of scientists versus the world of artists.
Piotr, Ada, Karol and Hanna—intriguingly drawn and unconventional characters caught in a web of strange, utterly unexpected sequences and connections. A comedy with a philosophical message, addressing human weaknesses that, in this case, are independent of human intellect and abilities. We are all constantly exposed to temptations and are usually helpless in the face of them. A fast-paced intrigue with a surprising epilogue. Shakespeare and Tarantino are here, too. Quite literally. After seeing this play, you will look at your neighbours differently—and perhaps even replace your doors. The convention of this play is, of course, crime fiction. As black as its humour.
