Let us check what to pay attention to when choosing the best cash loan.
If we do not have our own funds for renovating an apartment, buying a car, taking a dream vacation, or preparing a student’s school supplies, we may consider taking out a cash loan from a bank. In many respects, this will be a much better choice than taking out a loan from a non-bank institution. Above all, this concerns the interest rate on the credit or loan obligation. Banks usually have lower costs associated with taking out and repaying a cash loan than non-bank lenders.
Features of a cash loan
A cash loan is the simplest type of cash financing offered by banks. It is very often compared to a loan, as it does not require collateral in the form of a mortgage on real estate, usually involves a relatively small amount, and has a short repayment period. Banks can grant customers such a loan even during a single visit, thanks to a simplified lending procedure. Unfortunately, compared with a mortgage loan, a cash loan is a considerably more expensive solution for borrowers. Its unquestionable advantage is that there is no need to inform the bank about the purpose for which the loan funds will be used. They can be spent in any way, unlike a mortgage loan, which is intended for housing purposes.
Simple lending procedure
Previously, for all loans, including cash loans, as a result of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority tightening lending procedures, banks had to carefully examine their customers’ creditworthiness and financial credibility. However, at the beginning of 2013, KNF decided to ease the conditions for obtaining cash loans from Polish banks, enabling Poles to take out this type of loan more easily.
Factors in choosing a cash loan
What should the best cash loan look like? When searching for the best cash-loan offer, a potential borrower should consider several issues in addition to the annual interest rate. An important factor is the APR of the cash loan, which indicates the fees the borrower will incur in connection with the loan. The amount of the bank commission and margin, charged by the bank, is also important, as are the permitted maximum loan repayment period and the amount of the obligation itself. The borrower should check which sources of income the bank accepts when granting cash loans and whether the loan will require the submission of numerous documents, including proof of employment or a certificate confirming the monthly income earned.
