A concrete surface made of paving blocks, together with driveways, has been installed on the internal road leading to single-family homes in Chobienia. Street lamps have also been installed.
– The project was carried out at the request of residents, who paid for the design themselves and asked the municipality to finance the road construction. Such community cooperation greatly accelerated the work – says Władysław Bigus, head of Rudna Municipality. – We are planning a similar project on a municipal road in the village of Wysokie. By the end of 2015, a paving-block surface will be built in one of the housing estates there – he adds.
This is not the end of the projects in Chobienia. The stormwater sewer network on plot no. 232 will be reconstructed later this year.
