It turned out that the man had committed at least five burglaries at shops and a bookshop. His haul included, among other things, power tools, a saw, tobacco products and a vacuum cleaner. While carrying out further activities in the case, police officers established that the suspect had been smashing shop windows during evening walks through the city streets. In total, he caused losses exceeding PLN 20,000.
Police officers from Bogatynia have already recovered some of the stolen items. The 25-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
