The jury appreciated not only the beauty of the flowers, but above all the garden’s harmony with the tradition of the rural landscape. – We paid attention to the abundance of ornamental plants, the garden’s rural character, as well as the overall harmony and order of the garden design – emphasizes Uszula Znamirowska from the Lubin branch of DODR in Wrocław.
The next places went to the gardens of Małgorzata Dańczak and Barbara Tokarczuk.
– The municipality’s residents attach particular importance to caring for their surroundings, hence the abundance of home gardens that delight the eyes all year round. Each of our village councils has remarkable plant collections and beautiful small-scale architecture. In Rudna, we simply like to live beautifully – said Władysław Bigus, the municipal head, while presenting the winners with their prizes.
The best gardeners received branded gardening equipment.
