During the session, a decision was made, among other things, to increase the municipality’s budget by over PLN 323,000. As a result, this year’s revenue of Rudna municipality increased to a total of PLN 45,875,687.00.
The Regional Chamber of Audit positively assessed the progress of budget implementation and cultural funding in the municipality during the first half of the year. The councillors also adopted amendments to the network plan for public schools and preschools. The municipal preschool in Rudna was separated from the School Complex in Rudna; similarly, the preschool in Chobienia is no longer part of the School and Preschool Complex.
At the facilities, children can count, among other things, on meals, psychological assistance and free transport. Until now, children travelled to preschool with older pupils; they are now transported separately and are also provided with supervision while being taken to and collected from the facility. The cost of transport is approximately PLN 268,000 and is covered entirely by Rudna municipality; parents incur no fees for this.
A resolution was also adopted concerning changes to the network plan for public schools run by Rudna municipality and the definition of their catchment-area boundaries, which is related to the separation of the preschools from the School Complexes.
During the session, amendments were adopted to the long-term programme for managing Rudna municipality’s housing stock. The municipality has 129 premises at its disposal, with the cost of their modernization and renovation estimated at PLN 8,807,466.
The Municipal Council also approved a preliminary plan for the location of a bus stop in the village of Orsk. The stop is to be built by the district road, near the village community centre. However, the final location of the stop will be decided by the Lubin County Board, which administers district roads and is responsible for their condition.
The final item on the session’s agenda was the selection of lay judges for the courts in Lubin and Legnica. For the next four years, these functions will be performed by the following residents of Rudna municipality: Jolanta Książek, Maria Kucy and Ewa Łucja Zenker.
