In the Forum hall, we are opening the season of cultural Thursdays on September 24 at 6:00 p.m. with a large dose of humour performed by Formacja Chatelet. The cabaret artists will present their latest programme, “Wojna Płci” — the show’s strong point is its satirical videos illustrating the absurdity of everyday situations.
A week later, on October 1 at 6:00 p.m., comes “Bajka baletowa: Jezioro łabędzie”, intended not only for the youngest audience. The narration has been combined with ballet scenes performed in beautiful costumes against a magical set, stimulating and strongly influencing children’s imaginations. Young viewers become involved in the performance and learn the secrets of classical dance.
The following Thursday — October 8 at 7:00 p.m. — well-known actors will appear in the performance “Przekręt (nie)doskonały”. This is the essence of British humour! It is an intelligent, charming and expertly constructed comedy of manners which, since its premiere at the Theatre Royal Windsor in 1984, has practically never left the programme.
Next, on October 15 at 6:00 p.m., an equally excellent performance and a great deal of fun await us in “Randka w ciemno, na dwie pary”. It is an ingeniously arranged story, featuring snappy dialogue and plenty of laughter.
On October 22 at 5:30 p.m. — a meeting with Marcin Daniec. The cabaret artist’s phenomenon is linked to his excellent rapport with the audience, whose reactions become part of the programme.
An exceptional multimedia performance, “Utwory Pink Floyd w blasku księżyca”, will take place on November 12 at 7:00 p.m. The Spare Bricks group, Poland’s leading Pink Floyd cover band, invites audiences to a two-hour musical show.
Meanwhile, on November 19 at 7:00 p.m., our stage will host “STRAUSS GALA”, a brilliantly directed, charming music-and-dance show. The artists will perform in beautiful costumes from the nostalgic era of the famous Franz Joseph. The concert will feature soloists, ballet dancers and the Strauss Festival Orchestra conducted by Stephen Ellery.
On Thursday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m., cabaret favourites HRABI have joined forces with the Jurki cabaret, and together they will perform before the Bolesławiec audience in the programme "Aktorem w płot". It is an extraordinary and unique show. Every lover of good humour should see it — it is well worth it!
