Kowary police officers detained a 33-year-old man suspected of growing cannabis and possessing drugs. The officers received information that the man might have drugs in his home.
The suspicions were confirmed. In the 33-year-old’s apartment—in a jar and in resealable bags—officers found marijuana from which more than 30 retail portions could have been obtained. It also turned out that the man was growing cannabis in his backyard garden, among vegetables under plastic sheeting.
The officers seized four plants. The man claimed that he had the drugs only for his own use.
The man was taken into police custody. He faces up to 3 years in prison.
