The suspected 44-year-old committed at least sixteen property-related crimes in Jelenia Góra between 11 March and 5 June.
Police also identified his accomplice. He turned out to be a 22-year-old Jelenia Góra resident who is currently being held in pre-trial detention, where he is serving a prison sentence for other crimes.
The men broke into and robbed basements. They mainly stole bicycles.
Police are currently determining all the circumstances of the case and what happened to the stolen bicycles.
Both burglars face up to 10 years in prison.
