According to residents, their ability to watch programmes was switched off in the morning. UPC set up a tent on the estate where new equipment was distributed. People had to queue to collect the devices.

Many people did not hide their outrage at the company’s approach. “Television should come here and film this,” one of the residents of a block on Małachowskiego Street told our journalist.

UPC press spokesperson Michał Fura, whom we wanted to ask for an explanation of the situation, called us back but did not provide any information.
