Officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters detained a 26-year-old man suspected of stealing a car. The crime was committed on 21 July this year in Osiecznica Municipality.
Police recovered the stolen car, which the suspect had sold at a scrap-metal collection point in Lubusz Voivodeship.
The 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County confessed to the crime. The Fiat Uno will be returned to its owner, for whom it has enormous practical value.
The detainee faces up to 5 years in prison.
