He Fell Asleep on His Way Home from a Party and Was Robbed. Police Arrested a Suspect

Officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra identified and arrested a 21-year-old man suspected of theft and burglary.

The incident occurred in July this year on one of the city's streets. The victim was returning from a party. He decided to rest on a bench, where... he fell asleep. The suspect, riding a bicycle past him, noticed the sleeping man and decided to take advantage of the opportunity. He stole a wallet containing a bank card and a mobile phone. It turned out that the 21-year-old used the stolen card twice to pay for purchases.

When the wallet's owner realized that he had been robbed, he notified the police. The suspect was arrested. He turned out to be a 21-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra, who faces up to 10 years in prison.
