New school year in Bolesławiec: education funding and student numbers

In Bolesławiec, 4,089 students began the new school year. A total of 602 students entered the first grades of primary school, including 532 at institutions run by the Municipality of Bolesławiec.

In Bolesławiec, the educational subsidy for 2015 amounts to PLN 23,201,385. The educational subsidy per student is PLN 5,258.68. Current expenditure planned per student is PLN 5,718.12 in municipal primary schools and PLN 6,601.56 in municipal lower-secondary schools. Expenditure on education planned in the city budget for 2015 amounts to PLN 36,099,751.

This amount includes expenditure, among other things, on primary schools, preschool classes in primary schools, preschools, lower-secondary schools, transporting students to schools, the economic and administrative support unit for schools, teacher training and professional development, school and preschool cafeterias, the implementation of tasks requiring special organization of education and working methods for children in preschools, preschool classes in primary schools and other forms of preschool education, as well as for children and young people in primary and lower-secondary schools, educational care and supervision, and school common rooms.
