The renovation was carried out within the existing outline of the street and sidewalks, and the investment from the county budget cost over PLN 262,000. But the county is not only its capital, which is why most of the budget funds and money obtained from external funds were invested in the remaining municipalities, with financial support from local governments.
A major qualitative change took place in Gromadka Municipality. The road modernized this year—with sidewalks—running through Gromadka and Modła to the county border has changed not only the appearance of the town itself, but has also connected remote villages. This road is the finishing touch.
The renovation cost over PLN 3.2 million. This funding made it possible to rebuild over 5 km of roadway and nearly 4 km of sidewalks with lay-bys, driveways to properties and the necessary drainage.
Sikorskiego Street in Gromadka also benefited. Nearly PLN 100,000 was allocated for its renovation. Residents of Kraśnik, Lipiany and Nowa Wieś are also pleased. In two stages, a nearly 2.5-km section of road was rebuilt, along with sidewalks, at a cost of over PLN 700,000.
The list of successfully renovated locations also includes Osła and Gościszów, a sidewalk in Wykroty, reconstructed pedestrian crossings in Ławszowa, and the county road in Jurków, costing over PLN 600,000.
Some work is still under way, but everything indicates that it will be completed on schedule.
