Police officers from Kowary detained two men, aged 21 and 22, suspected of burglary and theft.
The incident occurred on the night of 1–2 August this year in one of the localities in Mysłakowice municipality. The two suspects broke in and then robbed a storage shed and an outbuilding. They stole two mountain bikes, four steel rims, tyres, a bicycle and a distinctive motorcycle charger modified by its owner.
But that was not the end of it: the following night, the men stole two alloy wheels from an Audi A3 from one of the car parks. The victims’ total losses amount to approximately PLN 5,000.
The suspects were detained. It turned out that the 21-year-old had fitted the stolen alloy wheels to his car. Officers recovered some of the stolen property at the home of one of the detainees and some at the other’s home.
The 21- and 22-year-olds face up to 10 years in prison.
