Applications are being verified on an ongoing basis for completeness and correctness. In all cases, the City Hall services calculated the eligible costs of the project and the environmental impact of the completed investment.
According to a resolution of the Municipal Council, the next stage of the grant-awarding procedure will be inspections of the premises where the environmentally friendly investments were carried out. The City Hall will inform interested persons by telephone or in writing of the exact dates planned for the inspections.
A positive decision on the application by the committee, following the inspection, will constitute the basis for concluding a civil-law agreement between the Municipality of Legnica and the applicant on awarding a targeted grant for the implementation of a project involving a change in the heating method.
It is worth recalling that the grant amounts to up to 45 percent of the documented eligible investment costs, but no more than PLN 5,000, among others for individuals. Grants will be awarded up to the amount of funds planned for this purpose in the city budget for a given financial year. If the funds are exhausted, applications that were not implemented will be considered first in the following financial year.
Let us also recall that entities not classified as part of the public finance sector are entitled to submit applications and use the grants, in particular: individuals, housing associations, legal persons, entrepreneurs and public finance sector units.
Investment projects completed since January 1, 2011, may be eligible for funding.
