On Friday (7 August), firefighters from OSP Warta Bolesławiecka were called to an unusual incident. A small fawn fell into a water-filled fire tank at the former "Konrad" Mining Works in Iwiny. The animal could not get out of the tank on its own. Using a rope, the firefighters pulled the fawn out of the water and released it into the forest.
