Police officers detained a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman. Both are suspected of breaking into a property and stealing gas cylinders. The residents of Bolesławiec County tried to sell the stolen property to local entrepreneurs.
During a police check, it turned out that the cylinders came from a burglary that had taken place several hours earlier in Bolesławiec. Police officers found 12 stolen cylinders in the suspects’ car. The owner valued the recovered property at approximately 850 zlotys.
Moreover, it emerged that the detainees had committed other offences as well. The 26-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were charged with stealing 80 pallets worth more than 2,000 zlotys.
Police officers have already recovered some of the stolen property. Both suspects face up to 10 years in prison.
