The footbridge will undergo a thorough renovation. The scope of work includes, among other things:
- reinforcing the structure of one flight of stairs
- installing a barrier to protect part of the space beneath the footbridge from access by unauthorized persons and birds
- local repairs to concrete elements
- anti-corrosion protection of concrete surfaces with paint coatings
- renovation and anti-corrosion protection of all exposed surfaces of steel elements with paint coatings
- maintenance of roller bearings
- installation of bird-deterrent devices
- replacement of drainage elements
- local repairs and replacement of synthetic-resin surfacing.
Due to the renovation, temporary traffic arrangements have been introduced on Pocztowa Street. Pedestrian traffic across the footbridge takes place via designated lanes. The work is scheduled for completion in October.
UM Legnica
