The author of the book “The Musical Life of Bolesławiec in the 19th Century” is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Wrocław. The publication launched the “Boleslaviana” series, which will present the results of research into aspects and issues concerning the life of Bolesławiec and its surroundings in the past, present or future. The publications will feature the best master’s theses, selected through a competition, by graduates of higher-education institutions—not only in the humanities, but also in technical and economic fields. The publication was financed with funds from the Municipality of Bolesławiec, and the publisher is the Museum of Ceramics.
