On Saturday, the 6th Pogranicze Swimming Competition was held in Jelenia Góra. Swimmers from Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland took part in the competition. The Swimming Section “Bąbel”, representing TOP Bolesławiec, achieved success in the competition. Our swimmers reached the podium eight times, while also setting personal bests. Two Bolesławiec residents took first place, one person took second place, and five people won third places.

First places:

  • Weronika Niewiadomska – 50 m backstroke
  • Stanisław Kozioł – 50 m breaststroke

Second place:

  • Konrad Różnicki – 50 m freestyle

Third places:

  • Vanessa Piotrowska – 50 m butterfly
  • Vanessa Piotrowska – 50 m freestyle
  • Weronika Niewiadomska – 50 m butterfly
  • Paulina Sudół – 50 m breaststroke
  • Mateusz Buryło – 50 m breaststroke

As a team, the “Bąbel” swimming section took third place, finishing behind swimmers from Liberec and Jelenia Góra.
