During the morning assembly, the Brigade’s deputy commander, Colonel Dariusz Nawrocki, introduced the chaplain to all the unit’s personnel present. Father Michał Zieliński, a graduate of the Higher Officers’ School in Wrocław, had previously served as a vicar in parishes in Toruń, and subsequently in Legionowo, Białobrzegi, Przasnysz and Kazuń. Since 1 July, he has served as parish priest at the Parish of St Florian in Świętoszów.

“This is a major career promotion for me, but also a personal challenge. Serving here, in this Lower Silesian land, this armored land, is my baptism of fire. But I am optimistic. I hope that cooperation between the soldiers and me will work out very well, and that my ministry among you will bear the best fruit, also for the Świętoszów community,” said the new chaplain of 10BKPanc.
