Representatives of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie Elektros Bolesławiec took part in a beach volleyball tournament held on Saturday, July 18, at the MOSiR Water and Sports Centre as part of the “Na Zdrowie” Festival. First place went to Sławomir Potocki (from the BTS Elektros senior team) and Rafał Wójtowicz (who plays for the junior team). Second place went to Tomasz Włoszczyński and Mateusz Świerzewski (both from the senior team).
The third-place finishers were players from Zielona Góra, Maciej Baumgarten and Sławomir Janusz. The latter was a setter for second-division team Astra Nowa Sól in the 2014/2015 season. Just outside the podium was the BTS Elektros cadet duo of Kamil Kucharski and Maciej Wilk.
The tournament was organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec. Twelve teams took part in the competition.
