Men’s volleyball has returned to Bolesławiec. On Saturday, the first IV-league volleyball match took place. TOP Bolesławiec faced Bystrzyca Oławska. Unfortunately, despite the loud support, our volleyball players lost 0–3 in sets (11–25, 21–25, 21–25).
Our volleyball players were most lacking in confidence. In the first set, the visitors defeated the Bolesławiec team 25–11. The visitors’ large advantage was primarily the result of errors made by TOP’s players. TOP’s main weaknesses were poor reception, setting errors and attacks that went out.
In the second set, the Bolesławiec team put up a fight. For a short time, they came within a few points of the visitors, but unfortunately the end of the set was dominated by the visiting team. In the third set, the visitors held a substantial lead until reaching 20 points. Our team managed to reduce the deficit to 19–22. Unfortunately, the visitors controlled the closing stages.
