The ceremony was attended by: deputy commander of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, insp. Tomasz Miłkowski, representatives of local governments and cooperating institutions, as well as commanders from neighbouring district police headquarters.

During the ceremony, 85 officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lubin received promotions to higher police ranks. The first to receive a promotion to the rank of inspector from the deputy head of the Lower Silesian Police was the district police commander in Lubin, Tomasz Gołaski. In addition, 53 officers in the aspirant corps, 25 officers in the non-commissioned officer corps and 6 officers in the rank-and-file corps were promoted to higher ranks.

In recognition of their services in protecting people’s safety and maintaining public order, six officers were presented with Silver and Bronze “Meritorious Policeman” Badges, including the first deputy district police commander in Lubin, senior superintendent Sebastian Biały, who received a Silver Badge.

Furthermore, during the ceremony, ten civilian employees received material awards by decision of the district commander. As every year, officers also received awards from local government representatives.
