The idea for the meeting came from one of the teachers, Aneta Górak. The aim was to help some of the children overcome their fear of dogs.

“I work in dog behaviorism, the study of their behavior. Many children at the kindergarten were afraid of these animals. Together with my dog Neron, I wanted to help some of the little ones overcome their fear. We also wanted to challenge the opinion that an amstaff is dangerous to people and animals. We showed that he is friendly and loving,” says Wadim Liśniewski from Wrocław, who visited the kindergarten in Łaziska.

The children played with the dog in the yard beside the building. They could touch and pet him and look at his teeth. They ran and played with him. In this way, they overcame their fear of the animal. It was also an important experience for the dog, as he could become accustomed to a large group of laughing children running around him.

The activities with Wadim Liśniewski and Neron were jointly led by Aneta Górak and Anna Pietrzak.
